You will work with management to direct nursing care, evaluate performance, and support staff through scheduling and training.

Qualifications

• RN license and active practice in Texas.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications required.
• Pediatric emergency nursing certification or course within 1 year of start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 60 days.
• Trauma nursing certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate nursing care for the unit during the shift.
• Collaborate with management to monitor and improve patient care quality and outcomes.
• Lead and support staff through scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Operate patient-first strategies and service recovery when needed.
• Assist with interviewing, selecting, and training staff.
