Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• PALS certification obtained or within 6 months of start date.
• BCLS certification or instructor credentials within 30 days of start date.
• Associate degree in nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes for efficient throughput and quality care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of care quality in the unit with the management team.
• Collaborates with managers to create teamwork that improves outcomes and service.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when needed.
• Supports nursing strategies, including hourly rounds and staff engagement initiatives.
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, selecting, and training staff and performance actions.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management per patient care needs.
• Supports inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.
