Job summary

Regional 911 Intake Solutions in Frisco, NC is looking for 911 Call Takers to be the first point of contact for emergencies. You will ask focused questions, confirm locations, and document information for responders. The role may require rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and overtime.

A high school diploma or equivalent is commonly required, and prior customer service or public safety experience can help. You will use dispatch software to enter details, forward information to the relevant

Responsibilities

Answer incoming emergency calls and assigned nonemergency lines.
Confirm incident location and caller’s callback information.
Use approved questions to identify nature and urgency of situations.
Enter accurate details into call-processing or dispatch software.
Forward incident information to the appropriate dispatch function promptly.
Help distressed callers focus on essential questions and instructions.
Use language-access and accessibility resources when needed.
Provide authorized pre-arrival instructions only within training and certification.
