Regional 911 Intake Solutions in Clear Creek, IN seeks 911 Call Takers to be the first point of contact for emergencies. You will ask focused questions, verify location and callback details, and document information for responders.

Roles may require rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and strong listening, typing, and clear verbal communication skills; formal training and certification will be provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming emergency calls and assigned nonemergency lines.
• Confirm incident location and caller’s callback information.
• Use approved questions to identify urgency and nature of the situation.
• Enter accurate details into call-processing or dispatch software.
• Forward incident information promptly to the appropriate dispatch function.
• Provide calm, clear instructions to distressed callers within training.
• Use language-access resources when needed and maintain caller privacy.
