Regional 911 Intake Solutions is seeking 911 Call Takers to handle emergency and nonemergency calls, verify locations, and document information for dispatch teams. You will follow scripted questions, assess urgency, and relay critical data to responders.

Strong listening, accurate typing, and calm communication are essential. Typical shifts include 24/7 coverage with potential nights, weekends, and overtime; training and certifications are provided as part of the role.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong listening comprehension and clear verbal communication essential.
• Ability to follow structured procedures and document information accurately.
• Prior customer service or public safety experience helpful but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Answer incoming emergency calls and assigned nonemergency lines.
• Confirm incident location and caller contact information.
• Use approved questions to determine nature and urgency.
• Enter details into call-processing or dispatch software accurately.
• Forward incident information promptly to the dispatch function.
• Help distressed callers focus on essential questions and steps.
• Apply language-access and accessibility resources when needed.
• Provide pre-arrival instructions within training scope.
