Regional 911 Intake Solutions is seeking qualified individuals to join our Juliustown-based call center as 911 Call Takers. You will answer emergency and nonemergency lines, verify locations, and document essential details to aid responders.

Responsibilities include following established procedures, entering data into dispatch software, and providing calm guidance while maintaining caller privacy. A high school diploma and strong listening and typing skills are required; shifts may include

Qualifications

• High school diploma or recognized equivalent.
• Strong listening comprehension, accurate typing, clear verbal communication, and ability to follow structured procedures.

Responsabilités

• Answer incoming emergency calls and assigned nonemergency lines.
• Confirm incident location and caller’s callback information.
• Use approved questions to identify nature and urgency of the situation.
• Enter accurate details into call-processing or dispatch software.
• Forward incident information promptly to the appropriate dispatch function.
• Provide calming guidance and essential information to callers.
