Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming emergency calls and nonemergency lines
• Confirm location and caller’s callback information
• Use approved questions to assess urgency
• Enter details into call-processing software
• Forward information to dispatch promptly
• Provide pre-arrival instructions within training
• Maintain caller privacy and confidentiality
