Job summary

Informa PLC is seeking a Payroll Operations Specialist to help deliver payroll services across multiple providers for the EMEA region. You will review payroll controls, ensure data accuracy, and support governance while maintaining GDPR compliance and data privacy.

You will work with HR, Benefits, and finance teams to ensure timely payroll processing, generate monthly reports, and assist with year-end obligations. The role requires strong Excel skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Few years of payroll experience in a complex organisation.
• Payroll subject matter expert with EMEA exposure desired.
• Strong Excel skills with VLOOKUP and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with EMEA payroll bureaus to ensure timely processing.
• Collaborate with HR and Benefits to submit data to bureaus.
• Perform monthly payroll checks for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare payroll analysis reports and KPI dashboards for senior management.
• Ensure salaries and third-party payments are processed on time.
• Reconcile payroll journals and HMRC payments; support year-end duties.
• Maintain payroll controls, GDPR compliance, and data privacy.
