Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC seeks an Embedded Software Dev Engineer for its Amazon LEO Customer Terminal Software Team. You will design, craft, and deploy embedded software for the Customer Terminal devices, collaborating across teams to ensure reliable production-grade software from requirements to deployment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field; experience in at least one programming language.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for Customer Terminal devices within the Amazon LEO system.
• Participate in all phases of SDLC including requirements gathering, design, code, test, and code/test coverage.
• Develop embedded software in C, C++, Rust, Python or other languages.
• Experience with real-time embedded software philosophies and practices.
• Expertise with Linux and/or RTOS.
• Review schematics, logic analyzer, and embedded software troubleshooting techniques.
