Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer for the Amazon Leo CT SW Team in Redmond, WA. You will design and implement software for terrestrial devices, participate in all SDLC phases, and work with cross‑functional teams across the organization to deliver reliable, real‑time embedded solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on development in C/C++, Rust, and assembly, with Linux/RTOS expertise, mentoring responsibilities, and a strong track

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded software used in Project Kuiper products.
• Work in a collaborative environment with teams inside and outside of Amazon.
• Translate requirements and designs into code and deploy to production.
