Job summary

Amazon LEO is hiring an Embedded Software Dev Engineer to design, craft, and deploy embedded software for Customer Terminal devices within the LEO system. You will participate in all SDLC phases and develop in C/C++, Rust, Python or other languages, with emphasis on real-time embedded philosophies and Linux/RTOS.

The role involves collaborating with hardware, product, and operations teams to deliver reliable software for consumer electronics in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software language.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for Customer Terminal devices within the Amazon LEO system.
• Participate in all phases of SDLC including requirements gathering, design, code, test, and coverage.
• Develop embedded software in C, C++, Rust, Python or other languages.
• Work with real-time embedded software philosophies and practices.
• Have expertise with Linux and/or RTOS.
• Review schematics, logic analyzer, and embedded software trouble-shooting techniques.
