Amazon is seeking engineers for Project Leo to design and deploy embedded software on Customer Terminal devices. You will contribute across the full SDLC, from requirements through deployment, applying real-time embedded principles and Linux/RTOS knowledge.

The role involves collaborating with hardware, product, and operations teams to deliver reliable software for consumer devices connected to the Leo network.

Qualifications

• Develop embedded software for Customer Terminal devices within Project Leo.
• Experience with real-time embedded software philosophies and practices.
• Experience with Linux and/or RTOS.
• Review schematics, logic analyzers, and embedded software troubleshooting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for Customer Terminal devices within the Project Leo system.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC including requirements gathering, design, code, test, and code/test coverage.
• Developing embedded software in C, C++, Rust, Python or other languages
• Have experience with real-time embedded software philosophies and practices
