MiniMed is seeking a Software Embedded Engineer II to join our Northridge team, blending embedded software design with robust C and Python development. This hybrid role requires 3-4 days on-site in Northridge, CA, and offers a path to impact diabetes care with innovative devices.
The ideal candidate has a BS in CS/CE/EE or related field and 2+ years in software development, with RTOS experience and familiarity with medical software processes.
Competenze
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related engineering field with 2+ years in software development.
- Proficiency in C; familiarity with C++ and Assembly.
- Embedded systems experience; RTOS exposure; medical software development background preferred.
Mansioni
- Design, develop, test, debug and implement operating systems components, software tools and utilities.
- Determine systems software design requirements.
- Ensure that system improvements are implemented to increase efficiency.
- Generate systems software engineering policies, standards and procedures.
