MiniMed seeks a Software Embedded Engineer to design, develop, and maintain embedded software solutions for innovative insulin delivery products. The role centers on C and Python, with RTOS experience, in a hybrid Northridge, CA setting (3–4 days onsite).

The ideal candidate has a strong embedded systems background, 2+ years of software development experience, and familiarity with medical software processes such as IEC 62304. Join a people-first team focused on life-changing diabetes care.

Competenze

• BS in CS/CE or related field with 2+ years of software development experience.
• Alternatively, a Master’s degree in CS/CE or related field.
• Proficiency in C; familiarity with C++ and Assembly.
• Embedded systems development experience.
• Experience with RTOS.
• Experience with medical software development processes such as IEC 62304.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills; debugging and problem-solving.
• Experience with Network Communications or Bluetooth Low Energy preferred.
