Job summary

MiniMed seeks a Senior Software Embedded Engineer to design, develop, and maintain embedded software solutions for innovative products. The role emphasizes C and Python with a strong background in embedded systems and Bluetooth Low Energy, based in Northridge, CA in a 3–4 day onsite hybrid setup.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years in embedded development within regulated environments, plus 10+ years experience or 8+ years with an advanced degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher completed and verified prior to start.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of embedded device experience in a regulated industry.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug and implement embedded software and OS components.
• Determine systems software design requirements.
• Ensure that system improvements are implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.
• Generate systems software engineering policies, standards, and procedures.
• May work across a variety of software lifecycle activities as determined by program needs.
