RTX is seeking a Software Engineer I for the Space and RF Sensors team in Fort Wayne, IN. You will design, develop, and verify embedded software across sensor and flight-control domains, contributing to mission-critical aerospace and defense systems.

You will work in agile teams, applying C/C++, Python, or Java, and collaborate with systems and hardware engineers to ensure robust, secure software delivery. Eligibility for DoD clearance is required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Java.
• Understanding of software development life cycles, including Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain software for aerospace and defense applications, ensuring robust functionality and reliability.
• Implement, test, and debug software solutions to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, hardware engineering, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal system performance.
• Participate in code reviews, testing procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software quality and development processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
• Document software designs, test results, and troubleshooting processes for future reference
