Job summary

RTX is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer I - Sensors, Space and Air in San Diego, onsite. You will join the Secure Product Assurance team to design, code, test real-time embedded software for Radar Digital Product Line and related systems.

You’ll work across the software lifecycle, support integration, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet performance and security requirements. Candidate must have a STEM degree and strong C/C++ skills, plus experience in embedded development

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM from an accredited institution.
Experience developing and testing software in C/C++ for real-time embedded systems.
Strong problem-solving and collaborative, team-based development skills.
Eligibility to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

Work on complex technical problems and develop innovative solutions.
Investigate issues and develop resolutions through troubleshooting.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including HW/SW integration.
Design, code, test, integrate, and document real-time embedded software for radar and sensors.
