Job summary

RTX’s Battle Management Software Department is seeking software engineers to support development, test, and lifecycle tasks for aircraft embedded software applications. The role focuses on interfaces with avionics systems including displays, navigation, and mission planning, demanding strong problem-solving and learning from world-class engineers.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in software requirements, design, development, integration, and test.
• Experience developing and testing software using C++, C#, Ada, Python.
• Experience in Windows environment and OOP concepts.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Use and provide creative solutions to complex technical system and software integration problems.
• Work with software engineers and systems engineers to design solutions for end users and operational needs.
• Support all aspects of a software development life cycle within a multi-disciplinary team.
