Job summary

Block is seeking a Product Compliance Manager to drive Square's core and audience product compliance. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and Legal to embed compliance into new launches, maintain risk inventories, and implement remediation plans.

Strong regulatory knowledge in payments and consumer protection is essential. You will translate complex requirements into practical controls, develop compliance metrics, and monitor regulatory changes across domains to protect product

Qualifications

• 8+ years in the compliance industry, with direct experience in payments, merchant acquiring, or commerce platform compliance.
• Strong regulatory knowledge across AML/BSA, Payment Card rules, Consumer Protection, Privacy, and electronic marketing rules.
• Experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams in agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as embedded compliance advisor for Core and Audiences product teams across Product, Engineering, Design, and Counsel.
• Lead product compliance reviews for new launches and feature changes; identify requirements early and close gaps with remediation plans.
• Own and maintain the compliance risk and control inventory for product areas, with ongoing risk assessments.
