Job summary

Nium is building a Product Compliance function to enable safe, scalable global growth. As a Product Compliance Manager, you will collaborate with Product, Payments, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Engineering and AI teams to ensure products meet regulatory expectations across jurisdictions.

You will translate complex regulatory requirements into pragmatic product controls, design end-to-end safety into product flows, and lead risk assessments with cross-functional teams to reduce financial crime risk

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in product compliance or related fintech roles.
• Strong understanding of digital products, payment flows, and customer journeys.
• Experience translating regulatory requirements into practical product controls.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, risk and compliance teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Business and Engineering from ideation to launch and evolution.
• Assess new products, features, payment methods for regulatory risk.
• Lead New Product Risk Assessments and translate risks into controls.
• Review existing products for compliance gaps and remediation.
• Develop reusable guidance and playbooks for jurisdictional compliance.
• Identify opportunities to automate compliance workflows using AI.
