Job summary
Block, Inc. is seeking a Product Compliance Manager to partner with Product, Engineering, Design and Legal teams to drive compliance for Square's Core and Audiences product suites.
The ideal candidate translates complex regulations into actionable controls and maintains product usability while ensuring regulatory alignment. The role requires 8+ years in compliance with payments/commerce experience, deep AML/BSA, PCI and privacy knowledge, and a data-driven, collaborative approach to risk
Qualifications
- 8+ years in the compliance industry with payments/merchant acquiring experience.
- Strong regulatory knowledge across AML/BSA, PCI and consumer protection rules.
- Embedded with Product and Engineering teams in agile environments.
Responsibilities
- Serve as embedded compliance advisor for Core and Audiences product teams.
- Lead product compliance reviews for new launches and changes.
- Maintain compliance risk and control inventory with ongoing assessments.
- Drive issues management, testing, monitoring, and policy development.
- Support regulatory examinations and coordinate remediation of findings.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on product portfolio.
- Translate regulations into practical, documented controls.
- Develop and report metrics on compliance health.
