Job summary

Certivo is seeking a Product Manager to own the Regulation Builder-driven platform roadmap, coordinating with design, engineering, and compliance to expand ten-category coverage. You will translate regulatory needs into concrete specifications and decide what becomes part of the product.

You’ll partner with engineers and compliance experts to balance scope, timing, and reliability, ensuring customer value while guiding the platform’s growth and strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, with at least two shipping B2B software to business buyers rather than consumers.
• Experience with a technically deep product where understanding the domain was part of the job, whether that was compliance, fintech, healthcare, logistics, security, or similar.
• Demonstrated ability to write specifications precise enough that engineers do not have to guess, and judgment about which decisions belong in the spec versus the build.
• Comfort with ambiguity and with being the person who decides. Much of this work starts with an unclear problem and several people who disagree about it.
• Strong written communication. Most of your influence here travels through documents.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform roadmap and maintain the roadmap for core platform components such as Regulation Builder and evidence workflow.
• Make the prioritization calls across competing pulls from customers, partners, compliance, and engineering, and defend them.
• Partner with engineering on sequencing, scope, and the tradeoff between shipping narrow and shipping complete.
• Translate a compliance requirement or a customer need into a specification with clear behavior, edge cases, and acceptance criteria; work with compliance engineers to understand demands.
• Define what becomes product by generalizing patterns from customer work into platform capability; resist one-off builds.
• Stay close to customers and the market by joining conversations, onboarding, and evaluations; bring evidence into roadmap discussions.
• Support the business by collaborating with marketing on positioning and launch; provide sales with clear answers about current capabilities and roadmap.
