Embassy Suites Cincinnati Rivercenter Covington is seeking a Catering & Convention Services Manager to drive catering and convention success in partnership with sales leaders. You’ll manage food and beverage sales, service clients/groups, and ensure events exceed expectations with strong client service and business acumen.

This overtime-eligible manager role focuses on revenue, satisfaction, and sales targets, collaborating with Directors to achieve outcomes in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; convention/event or catering sales experience preferred.
• Creative thinker with food, beverage and event knowledge; strong verbal and written negotiation skills.
• Valid driver’s license; proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to work independently, multitask, organize and present professionally.

Responsibilities

• Drive catering and convention sales to meet revenue and satisfaction targets.

Step into a pivotal role as a Catering & Convention Services Manager where you’ll drive catering and convention success, blending creativity, client service, and business acumen to deliver exceptional experiences. As the leader for assigned properties, you’ll manage food and beverage sales goals, service clients/groups, and ensure every event exceeds expectations. Your expertise will shine as you collaborate with the Director of Sales or Director of Catering/Convention Services, helping the hotel achieve revenue, satisfaction scores, and sales targets.

This position is an overtime eligible manager (OEM), overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required; prior convention, event, or catering sales experience preferred.
• Creative thinker with food, beverage, and event knowledge; strong verbal and written communication skills for negotiation and sales.
• Valid driver’s license for the applicable state; proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Proven ability to work independently, multitask, organize, and present professionally.
