Job summary

SPIRE Hospitality operates the Cincinnati Marriott at RiverCenter in Covington, KY. The Catering Sales Manager will drive catering sales for banquets and room rentals and manage accounts to achieve revenue targets while delivering guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include site inspections, cross‑department coordination, and maintaining client databases. The ideal candidate has knowledge of Food & Beverage etiquette, strong communication, and at least 2 years in a similar role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
• Food and Beverage knowledge is required.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience with Hilton Systems: PEP, Delphi is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness.
• Drive catering sales by proactively seeking new business opportunities and responding promptly to inquiries.
• Lead and manage efficient sale of banquets, catering and room rentals within the Sales and Catering Division.
• Conduct site inspections with potential and existing clients, showcasing offerings.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure seamless account servicing.
• Maintain a database of accounts in defined territories within the sales system.
• Participate in the development of sales plans, research, forecasting and other activities.
