Job summary
ekwamarketinginc is seeking a hands-on marketer to own and build our email and messaging systems from scratch. You will audit, fix, and continuously improve our email setup end to end, with ownership of deliverability, campaigns across email, SMS, and WhatsApp, and growth through ethical list hygiene.
You will work with multiple internal brands, define SOPs, and report KPIs weekly. The role requires 2–3+ years in email/SMS/CRM, hands-on platform experience, and the ability to design scalable
Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of experience in email, SMS, CRM, or lifecycle marketing
- Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms and deliverability
- Working knowledge of SPF, DKIM, DMARC, domain reputation, and warm-up
- Experience running SMS campaigns; WhatsApp marketing is a plus
- Strong automation, segmentation, and customer journey experience
- Comfortable building systems and processes from scratch
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Email deliverability, sender reputation, and inbox placement
- SPF, DKIM, DMARC, domain warm-ups, and sending practices
- Email, SMS, and WhatsApp campaigns and automations
- Contact lists — segmentation, suppression, hygiene, and ethical growth
- Event communication: registrations, reminders, follow-ups, replay campaigns
- SOPs and rules for how teams use email, SMS, and WhatsApp
- Weekly reports on opens, clicks, conversions, and other KPIs
- Testing subject lines, timing, CTAs — and recommending improvements
