Connectly Recruiting is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician in Mattoon, Illinois. This full-time role offers a compensation of $475,000 per year and requires BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, with Illinois license and DEA.

The position features a double-physician coverage model, three 10-hour shifts per day, and a workload designed to reduce burnout while maintaining high-quality patient care. Excellent benefits included.

Qualificações

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (or extensive ED experience).
• Active IL medical license or immediate eligibility to obtain.
• Valid DEA registration.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality emergency care in a 32-bed ED.
• Maintain patient pace averaging fewer than two encounters per hour.
• Collaborate with a second on-duty physician for double-coverage.
• Stabilize and coordinate transfers for high-acuity cases to tertiary care partners.
• Work a predictable rotation of 15 shifts per month across three 10-hour blocks (6a–4p, 1p–11p, 4p–2a).
• Coordinate patient care with on-site specialties including inpatient psychiatry.
• Maintain thorough electronic medical records for all encounters.
