Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator to support an intelligence customer at Langley AFB, VA. You will maintain desktop and server systems, provide Tier 1–3 support, and help ensure STIG compliance and secure operations.

A TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8570 Level II equivalent are required or must be obtained within 90 days. The role involves collaboration with on-site and remote users, deployment via PowerShell/PDQ/MECM, and occasional travel (0-20%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination
• Must have Security+ certification or DoD 8570 Level II equivalent within 90 days of hire
• TS/SCI Clearance required and eligibility to obtain CI Poly
• Must be able to obtain System Administrator Accounts and access within 90 days of hire
• RHEL, Windows, and/or Storage administration experience
• Experience with trouble ticket reporting systems such as Service+
• Willingness to travel 0-20% to local area sites and other locations with similar architecture

Responsibilities

• System administration of desktop and server systems connected to LAN/WAN
• Provide Tier 1–3 support and resolution
• Install/configure OS and software using deployment tools
• Maintain security configurations and STIG compliance
• Create and maintain SOPs and documentation
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and incident responses
• Support data center or end-user equipment maintenance
• Assist with backup and recovery plan testing
