Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our intelligence customer team on-site. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of IT systems experience.
• Must obtain Security+ or DoD 8570 Level II within 90 days.
• TS/SCI clearance required with eligibility to obtain CI Poly.
• RHEL, Windows, and/or Storage administration experience.
• Experience with trouble ticket reporting and tracking systems such as Service+.
• Ability to respond to after hour calls and travel 0-20% as required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain desktop and server systems connected to LAN/WAN.
• Provide Tier 1–3 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
• Install/load OS and applications using PowerShell, MECM, or PDQ.
• Coordinate on-site and remote user support and site visits.
• Ensure security patches and STIG compliance with ACAS findings.
• Document clear ticket notes and SOPs for all resolved issues.
