Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Systems Administrator Technician to support and manage hardware and IT services on client projects at a customer site in the United States. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, installation, and customer communication to ensure reliable operation of desktop, network, and server systems.

Required is 1+ year of related experience, DoD IA certification (Security+ CE) or higher, and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience.
• DoD IA certification required: CompTIA Security+ CE.
• US Citizenship required.
• Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph currently possessed.
• Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph ability to obtain would be considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain computers, voice, video, network, and server hardware to support IT services.
• Provide installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for information systems applications and peripherals.
• Serve as key contact for customers and communicate incident status, analysis, and solutions.
• Perform incident and change management tasks, including CMDB updates and knowledge articles.
• Collaborate with customers and service providers to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Support surge projects and special, high-visibility activities as directed.
