Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Thin Client using Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Technology Experience and/or knowledgeable with Windows 11, Windows 10, Citrix, SMS, and SCCM
• End User Hardware Thin Client, Thick Monitors, KVMs, Printers, Plotters
• Print Server Configurations, VOIP phone, Desktop Image Management
• Home Directory and Profile Support Services
• E-mail Support Services
• Software Support Services
• Experience with Windows 7, Windows 10, Win11 Citrix, SMS, and SCCM
• Excellent troubleshooting capabilities
• Strong communication skills
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Strong writing skills and documentation

Responsibilities

• Serve as NGA College Liaison for NGA events involving UDS IT equipment or requiring UDS support
• Facilitate meetings and engage with customers and senior leadership
• Address IT questions or concerns and coordinate requirements
• Provide situational awareness on IT maintenance and technology refresh for NGA College classrooms
• Independently develop technical solutions for software, hardware, configurations, and architecture
• Provide troubleshooting for highly complex hardware and software issues
• Perform advanced software installations and OS updates
• Monitor and tune systems for optimum performance
• Guide less experienced personnel on data integrity and standard solutions
• Lead complex data/media recoverability and backups
• Evaluate existing systems and plan long-term strategies
• Configure and maintain networked computers and applications
• Conduct hardware/software audits for compliance
• Establish operational plans and lead large projects
