Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Systems Administrator to support an intelligence customer at Langley AFB, VA. The role requires 5+ years of related experience, RHEL and Windows administration skills, and TS/SCI with CI Poly eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Security+ or DoW 8570 Level II within 90 days of hire.
• TS/SCI Clearance required with CI Poly eligibility.
• RHEL, Windows, and storage administration experience.
• Experience with trouble ticket reporting systems such as ServicePlus.
• Ability to respond to after-hours calls and provide on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain workflows and ensure reliable operation of computer systems.
• Coordinate site visits and upgrades with on-site and remote users.
• Provide Tier 1–3 support for Windows and Linux servers, storage, and web servers.
• Install/upgrade OS and software using deployment tools like SCCM and PowerShell.
• Follow procedures for security, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Prepare clear resolution notes for tickets and communicate status to stakeholders.
