Job summary

Tom Wood Lexus in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our luxury dealership team as a full-time, top-performing professional. You will use strong communication skills and technical aptitude to translate customer needs into accurate service plans and coordinate with our certified technicians.

Qualifications

Previous service advisor experience in a luxury dealership preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Professional at all times and calm under pressure.
Good organization and computer skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.

Responsibilities

Meet or exceed dealership objectives and goals for the service department.
Advise customers about necessary services for routine maintenance.
Fill out paperwork with customer information, costs, and payment details.
Schedule appointments and notify customers of changes; obtain approvals for recommended maintenance.
Work with customers to identify problems, perform road tests and inspections when needed.
Ensure vehicles are paid in full before release.
Notify dispatcher of incoming work and review repair orders for completion and authorization.
Ensure vehicles and keys are properly stored and secured.
Handle telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in progress; inform the service manager of issues.
