Tom Wood Lexus in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our luxury dealership team as a full-time, top-performing professional. You will use strong communication skills and technical aptitude to translate customer needs into accurate service plans and coordinate with our certified technicians.

Qualifications

• Previous service advisor experience in a luxury dealership preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional at all times and calm under pressure.
• Good organization and computer skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed dealership objectives and goals for the service department.
• Advise customers about necessary services for routine maintenance.
• Fill out paperwork with customer information, costs, and payment details.
• Schedule appointments and notify customers of changes; obtain approvals for recommended maintenance.
• Work with customers to identify problems, perform road tests and inspections when needed.
• Ensure vehicles are paid in full before release.
• Notify dispatcher of incoming work and review repair orders for completion and authorization.
• Ensure vehicles and keys are properly stored and secured.
• Handle telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in progress; inform the service manager of issues.

Tom Wood Lexus, located in Indianapolis, Indiana is looking for a full-time, top-performing individual to join our team as an Experienced Service Advisor! The ideal candidate is someone who possesses exceptional interpersonal skills, a strong technical aptitude, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. They should have a deep understanding of automotive systems and maintenance procedures, allowing them to effectively communicate with both customers and technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Meet or exceed dealership objectives and goals for the service department.
• Advise Customers About Necessary Services For Routine Maintenance.
• Fill out paperwork with correct customer information, as well as details about the maintenance including costs and methods of payment.
• Schedule appointments and notify customers about any changes in appointment times, as well as getting approval for different maintenance that might be needed.
• Work with the customer to find out what the problems are, performing road tests and other types of inspections if necessary.
• Make sure each vehicle is paid in full before releasing vehicle.
• Notify dispatcher of incoming work and review repair orders to ensure work is completed and authorization is noted.
• Ensure that vehicles are parked in assigned areas. Makes sure they are locked, and all keys are marked and put away correctly.
• Handle telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in process, as well as complaints. Informs the service manager of any potential problem or upset guest.

Qualifications:

• Previous Service Advisor Experience In a Luxury Dealership Preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must be professional at all times and be calm under pressure
