Job summary

National Federation of Independent Business seeks an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to grow membership through in-person engagement with independent business owners across the region. This Hunter/Closer role demands a driven closer who can present the NFIB value in a concise 5-minute pitch and enroll members on the spot.

You’ll receive paid training, full benefits, an uncapped commission and bonus plan, and a structured sales model designed to reward performance while supporting community advocacy

Qualifications

• Proven success in direct field sales or membership drives.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work in-person with small business owners.
• Comfort with performance-based compensation and fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Prospect in-person to meet small business owners (no appointment setting).
• Master and deliver the NFIB five-minute presentation.
• Close memberships and process payments on the spot.
• Educate owners on NFIB advocacy in DC and state capitals.
