Job summary

National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) is seeking an Elite Outside Sales Advocate in the Boston area. This Hunter/Closer role focuses on growing NFIB membership by engaging independent business owners through face-to-face outreach, delivering a concise presentation, and closing memberships on the spot.

You’ll join a team with an uncapped commission & bonus plan, paid training, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• You’ve owned a business, run a department, or managed a territory with accountability for results.
• You can build rapport with small business owners and persist through challenges.
• You value continuous improvement and learn a proven, structured sales model.
• You are driven to grow NFIB’s membership and protect small business interests.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: conduct in-person cold calls to meet small business owners.
• The NFIB Presentation: master and deliver a concise, proven 5-minute pitch.
• The Close: enroll new members and process payments on the spot using an assumptive close.
• Advocacy: educate owners on NFIB’s role in policy discussions in DC and state capitals.
