National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) is seeking an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to join our mission of supporting small businesses in California and nationwide. You will engage business owners, present our membership benefits, and close memberships on the spot while traveling to client locations.

The role offers paid training, full medical/dental/vision benefits, and an uncapped commission plan, with a self-directed schedule that rewards top performers.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or business ownership preferred.
• Ability to engage small business owners face-to-face.
• Fast learner with a proven, structured sales model.
• Strong perseverance under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: conduct in-person cold calls to meet owners.
• The NFIB Presentation: master and deliver our 5-minute verbatim sales presentation.
• The Close: use an assumptive one-call close to enroll new members and process payments on the spot.
• Advocacy: educate owners on how NFIB protects their rights in DC and state capitals.
