Job summary

You will educate patients on products and services, assist with frame and lens selections, and maintain accurate records.

The role requires ABO certification (or plan to obtain within 12 months), strong communication, and teamwork to support surgeons and staff while delivering exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Need a high school diploma or equivalent and ABO certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Knowledge of optical terminology and ability to assist with eyeglass selection and fittings.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver World Class customer service.
• Assess optical needs and interpret prescriptions from ophthalmologists or optometrists.
• Assist with eyeglass selection, make recommendations on frames, lenses, and coatings.
• Customize fit by adjusting frames and taking measurements.
• Educate patients on products, services, and care for eyewear.
• Process paperwork including work orders, insurance, and payments.
• Coordinate with lab technicians to ensure accurate lens fitting.
• Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, and doctors; maintain professionalism.
• Support team by sharing information and assisting as needed.
