Job summary

ConcordRENTS is seeking a maintenance professional to service and repair apartment homes and community facilities across our Florida communities. You will perform routine tasks, from painting and carpentry to plumbing and electrical work, ensuring units are ready for new residents and that common areas meet safety and appearance standards.

This role requires a HS diploma or GED, basic mechanical knowledge, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Requires basic mechanical knowledge.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification may be required and EPA certification (Universal or Type I/II) is required within six months to obtain certs.
• Ability to speak, read and write English for safety and productivity reasons.
• Prefer over one year of maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents that results in high resident satisfaction and retention.
• Respond to service requests and perform routine maintenance and repairs in apartment homes and facilities.
• Complete apartment unit turns by inspecting, repairing, painting, cleaning, and preparing units for new residents.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections, including HVAC checks and safety equipment reviews.
• Maintain community grounds, buildings, and common areas, address issues, clean and maintain exterior surfaces.
• Assist with upkeep of property amenities, irrigation checks, signage, recreation areas, and pool maintenance if applicable.
• Adhere to established maintenance processes and close service requests in the system; participate in on-call duties evenings/weekends.
