Job summary

National Federation of Independent Business is seeking an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to grow membership by engaging independent business owners across communities. This hunter/closer role requires delivering a concise, proven 5-minute presentation and closing new member enrollments on the spot.

You will prospect, present NFIB value, and advocate for the organization’s rights in Washington, D.C. and state capitals, with uncapped commissions and robust training.

Qualifications

• Experience in direct sales or outside sales.
• Ability to conduct face-to-face appointments and meetings with business owners.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: Conduct in-person cold calls to meet small business owners (no appointment setting).
• The NFIB Presentation: Master and deliver our concise, proven sales presentation.
• The Close: Use an assumptive one-call close to enroll new members and process payments on the spot.
• Advocacy: Educate owners on NFIB’s protections in Washington, D.C. and in state capitals.
