Job summary

National Federation of Independent Business in Clinton, Mississippi is seeking an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to grow NFIB membership while supporting small business in the community and across the state. You will be a field-based closer, building relationships with independent business owners to enroll members and drive advocacy.

The role emphasizes a hunter/closer profile with in-person outreach, a proven five-minute sales presentation, and a fast, assumptive close.

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial track record or ownership experience preferred.
• Ability to build rapport and close with small business owners.
• Willingness to learn and apply a proven sales model.
• Motivation to grow NFIB membership and advocate for small business.

Responsibilities

• Prospect in-person meetings with small business owners (no appointment setting).
• Master and deliver NFIB’s 5-minute sales presentation to prospects.
• Execute assumptive one-call close and process on-spot payments.
• Educate owners on NFIB advocacy at the federal and state levels.
