Job summary

Republic Services in Marks, MS is seeking a Maintenance Technician A to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, air brakes, engines, HVAC, and drive trains. You will work under supervision and support our drivers with reliable service.

Qualified candidates typically have 5–7 years of heavy-duty truck experience, ASE certifications (T1–T8) a plus, and a valid CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate technical expertise.
• 5-7 years of experience as a technician on heavy-duty trucks.
• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge and proficiency in vehicle components and systems; performs complex repair functions on-site and on the road.
• Chassis component repair and maintenance; drive train and suspension systems.
• Engine repair and diagnostics; air brake systems; HVAC diagnostics and repair.
• Identify malfunctions using electronic tools; completes Company training programs.
