Job summary

National Federation of Independent Business is seeking an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to drive membership growth across the local market through face-to-face engagements with small business owners.

You will present NFIB’s proven sales approach, close memberships, and educate owners on advocacy in DC and state capitals, all while enjoying a hybrid work setting and robust training. Expect strong earning potential with uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• You see "no" as a step toward "yes" and thrive under pressure.
• You are quick-witted and able to overcome objections with ease.
• Background in Sales, Military Leadership, Education, Small Business Ownership, or related field with drive.
• Proficient with using sales tooling and CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: conduct in-person meetings with small business owners in your territory.
• Deliver NFIB’s 5-minute sales presentation to potential members.
• Close new memberships and process payments on the spot.
• Educate owners on NFIB advocacy at the federal and state levels.
