Job summary

The Brattle Group is seeking a Temporary Desktop Support Technician for our Washington, DC office. The role provides hands-on technical support for PCs and end-user technologies, handling tickets and on-site assistance with a focus on excellent customer service.

The candidate should have strong troubleshooting, independent work habits, and the ability to support a busy IT environment. On-call rotation and physical tasks are required, with a base salary range disclosed in subsequent notes.

Qualifications

BSc in IS, CS or equivalent experience; A+, MCP or other certification is desired.
Five years of desktop support and end-user support experience.
Experience with Windows 11 Enterprise, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Apple iOS devices, and laptop hardware/software.

Responsibilities

Assist users with technical issues related to peripheral devices and hardware replacement.
Monitor and respond to helpdesk tickets and escalated tickets.
Maintain and support A/V in conference rooms and ensure asset inventory accuracy.
Perform onboarding, imaging and software deployment for end users.
Support printer, VPN, and email/account lockouts; coordinate with vendors.
