Job summary

Glass America Elmhurst, Illinois is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support daily shop operations by assisting customers, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with Auto Glass Technicians. The role requires organization, reliability, and comfort with technology in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

You will help the team meet production and service goals, maintain accurate customer records, and work closely with the Inside Sales team.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail, auto service, call center, or customer-facing experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience using dashboards, performance tools, and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Professionally handle customer interactions and general inquiries, both in person and over the phone.
• Schedule customer appointments with a sense of urgency.
• Maintain regular communication with Auto Glass Technicians in the field.
• Use our software to note conversations, enter sales information and update customer records.
• Provide quotes on installation and repair services following company procedures.
• Assist the team in meeting shop production goals and budget objectives.
• Complete work orders and keep customer information up to date.
• Maintain a clean, customer-ready store environment.
• Support inventory checks, part deliveries, and job confirmations as needed.
• Collaborate with technicians, market leadership, and Inside Sales teams.
