Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver top-quality repairs and an exceptional customer experience. You will assess and repair vehicles, disassemble, repair, reassemble, and restore them to pre-accident condition with attention to speed and quality.

You’ll work with the team to meet KPIs and uphold the WOW standard. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Completion of a tech program or 3-year apprenticeship is required or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork and communication with other repair staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames; replace damaged sections with parts.
• Replace or repair glass, interior parts, and paint as needed.
• Ensure work orders are completed within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair for quality assurance.
