Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous repairs that restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will dismantle, repair, and reassemble vehicles, realign chassis, replace parts, and ensure quality with attention to safety and efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with technical training or apprenticeship preferred, and comfort working in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork and repair skills for auto bodies.
• Good understanding of safety and tool usage.

Responsibilities

• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass and interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint to factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect for quality.
