Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician dedicated to restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition with precision, speed, and top-quality customer service. You’ll disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while collaborating with teammates to meet KPIs and uphold the Brand Ambassador promise.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical school training or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass and interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts into place.
• Prepare and repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
