Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble bodies with attention to quality, speed, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus completion of a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship. You will work as part of a team in a busy shop, using cutting tools, plasma cutters, and hydraulic jacks to restore vehicles.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship is required.
• Ability to read job orders and follow procedures precisely.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Repair dents, replace parts, and refinish surfaces as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to restore structural integrity.
• Replace or repair glass, interior parts, and components.
• Weld, fit, and attach parts; ensure work meets time guidelines.
• Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy.
