Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass seeks an Auto Body Technician to perform meticulous vehicle repair, restoration to pre-accident condition, and quality paintwork. You will work with the team to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while meeting safety standards and deadlines.

Qualified candidates typically have a high school diploma and either technical schooling or an apprenticeship, with the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and operate shop tools safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion or 3-year apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Experience with auto body repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare customer estimates.
• Repair dents, weld, replace damaged parts.
• Realign chassis and repaint as needed.
• Inspect vehicles after repair and ensure quality.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
