Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to meticulously repair vehicles and restore them to pre-accident condition. You’ll disassemble, repair, reassemble, and realign frames, replace parts, and perform paintwork while meeting safety and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a completed technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair. Strong teamwork and tool proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret job orders with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with auto body shop teammates to complete repairs.
• Strong understanding of body repair methods and procedures.
• Operate and handle repair tools and equipment safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute repair work per guidelines and time estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, reassemble vehicle components.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Repair and replace glass, windshields, and interior parts as needed.
• Weld, paint, and finish vehicles to factory specifications.
• Ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
